The Yard is an award-winning charity running adventure play services for disabled children, young people and their families in the east of Scotland. We offer disabled children and their siblings the chance to experience creative, adventurous indoor and outdoor play in a well-supported environment. Our flagship centre is located in Canonmills in Edinburgh and runs a variety of different services. Any child or young person with a disability can become a member. We’re also open to the general public every Sunday between 10am and 4pm. This session is called Sunday Funday and is your chance to share in The Yard magic. All families are welcome at The Yard Edinburgh to play in our adventure playground, get messy in our art room, roll about on the soft play, build a castle in the sandpit, ride bikes or just get outside and run around.
